PDoT.tech Team Visits iMEC for Research Exchange

Our team at PDoT.tech had the privilege of participating in an industry-driven research training program hosted at the IMEC facilities in Genk, Belgium, under the framework of the APPROACH EU Project (https://euproject-approach.eu/). This visit was an invaluable opportunity for our team to gain insight and experience in cutting-edge photovoltaic (PV) technologies and sustainable materials.

Key Highlights of the Training:

👉 Advanced PV Design and System-Technology Co-Optimization:

Our team engaged in hands-on training with IMEC’s senior scientists, focusing on the design and optimization of new-generation solar cells and modules. This included learning about the latest advancements in PV technology and how to integrate system-technology co-optimization to enhance the efficiency and performance of solar energy solutions.

👉 Testing of PDoT.tech Nanoinks:

We tested our environmentally friendly, highly-conductive nanoinks with modified work functions. These nanoinks are crucial for developing sustainable and efficient conductive materials, and the testing at IMEC provided us with critical data and insights to further improve our products.

👉 Exploring Collaboration Opportunities:

The visit also opened doors for potential new collaborations. By connecting with other researchers and industry professionals at IMEC, we identified new materials and techniques that could contribute to the development of stable and sustainable carbon-based highly conductive electrodes.

Stay tuned with PDoT.tech as we continue to advance our technologies and drive innovation in the field of sustainable energy solutions!
